Use case
Remote and Hybrid Coding Exams
Give remote, hybrid, and lab-based students the same exam runtime, without relying on local IDE setup or laptop configuration.
Examination Center is in early access — we're onboarding institutions through our Early Access Program. The information here describes our current platform and direction and may evolve; it is not a contractual commitment.
The operational problem
Remote and hybrid coding exams amplify uneven setups: one student has a different compiler, another loses browser state, and another works through an LMS text box that was never meant to run code. The result is harder to administer and harder to defend.
How Examination Center helps
- No student installs; students join through the LMS or a secure exam link and access code.
- Identical runtime for each student, including browser-based Python and sandboxed compiled languages.
- Live monitoring focused on the work: current code, run history, save status, and integrity signals.
- Autosave and recovery if a tab closes, browser freezes, or connection drops.
- Evidence supports instructor review; the platform does not grade, accuse, or issue automated verdicts.
